Ask any of the Gen Y, or Millennial workers, and they’d definitely tell you that work is a chore. The Independent reports that 43% of Millennials plan to leave their current job within two years or less, and only a quarter surveyed plan to stay at their current job for more than five years! Unlike previous generations, the Gen-Y’s don’t settle for less. Lizzo tells us, we need something more exciting, or if we’re tired of the work drama, seek your nirvana. An apt description as many young working adults find themselves job hopping until they find something that they’re truly happy with.

When I was 24 and just graduated with BA Hons (and jobless)

While my parents can’t say they’re the proudest of me, I have found myself sitting at mamak circles with my friends, because that’s honestly all we can afford - who share the very same sentiment.
